Spring Season Books
Want some Spring Season Books to read to help with a bit of self-care and self-improvement? Look no further – here are some ideas.

Em loves a self-help book (or two) and has tried to read quite a few of them over the years. Not all self-help books are great and if Em were to be perfectly honest, she doesn’t always get to the end of all of them.
Here are two recommendations from Milla which, if you are in the mood, you might find useful this Spring.
Mindset – Changing the way you think to fulfil your potential
Author: Dr Carol Dweck.
Publisher: Robinson.
Milla mentions this book in Episode 1 of the Podcast (The Emergency Chicken). Dr Dweck explains how your mindset can be changed and your resilience improved so that you are motivated you to reach your goals and achieve success.
Black Box Thinking: Marginal gains and the secrets of high performance
Author: Matthew Syed. Publisher: John Murrey
This is a Milla favourite! Matthew Syed is an expert in high performance coaching. The book gives case studies and examples of how in the worlds of sport, business, education and politics success happens.
Em has a couple of recommendations too:
Surrounded by Idiots
Author: Thomas Erikson.

This is a book about connecting and communicating with different types of people and how to understand them, speak to them and share information. Ever think that no one understands what you are saying? The book explains people’s personality types and how to best communicate with each one.
