
Summer Reading for Kids
For those of you with children, Summer reading for kids is hard to get them to do! Em has struggled to get both her boy and girl to read and learn that reading can be fun. Finding things for them to read is half the battle. Here are a few ideas.
Max The Detective Cat –

Em’s daughter loved the adventures of Max as he investigated all sorts of mysteries and had many adventures. Ideal for kids aged 7 to 10 years.
Alex Rider – Stormbreaker

The first book in the Alex Rider series, this book got Em’s boy reading. Brilliant stories about teenager Alex who gets involved in the murky world of undercover agents and spies.

The story of Greg and the things he gets up to. Em’s son was a big fan. Suitable for kids aged 9+. Greg gets up to all sorts of mischief and is much admired for it by Em’s boy.
